i found splatoon with the release of splatoon 3 in 2022. my fyp was FLOODED with clips and i was like "i have no idea what's going on but i NEED to experience it". i then bought a nintendo switch oled and splatoon 3 in october of that year and i was hooked immediately. i completed the entire story campaign in like three days. i would come home from school and play splatoon until like 9 at night. i played splatoon almost every day for the next two years, only slowing down when i went to uni and the wifi in my apartment didn't let my switch connect. i'm an absolute FIEND for splatoon it will forever be my favourite game franchise i love my silly little octoling!!!
